TRAI HELD A MEETING WITH DTH/CABLE COMPANIES DISCUSSING ABOUT RS. 153 NCF ( NETWORK CAPACITY FEES ) . RECENTLY TRAI HAD A MEETING WITH BROADCASTERS ASKING WITH TO REDUCE THE PRICES OF THEIR CHANNELS AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE, BUT BROADCASTERS WANT SOME TIME IN THIS REGARD. NOW TRAI IS WORKING HARD TO REDUCE THE TV BILLS OF THE AUDIENCE. RS SHARMA RECENTLY SAID THAT TRAI NEW RULE HAS NOT WORK AS PER THEIR THINKING/GOAL. AT NEW DELHI, TRAI HELD A MEETING WITH DTH/CABLE COMPANIES ASKING THEM TO REDUCE NCF ( NETWORK CAPACITY FEES )i.e. RS 153 TO BETWEEN RS.50 - RS.75. BUT TRAI IS NOT FORCING THEM TO DO SO, ITS AS PER THEIR WISH, IF THEY CAN DO SO. DTH/CABLE CO.WILL DECIDE IT SOON, WHAT WILL THEY DO. IF THIS DOESN'T WORK, TRAI WILL BE LOOKING FOR ANOTHER WAY.
